The Operations Team is preparing to resume work on the Alton to Bordon Investment Project, from 8 January 2024. The project webpage has been updated with details of the next phase of works and where the team will be working. Details can be found below:
Where is the team working?
- Lindford Road – 8 January 2024 to 16 February 2024. The team will move in an easterly direction towards Liphook Road, starting at the junction with Broxhead Farm Road. Lindford Road will be closed to through traffic from the junction with Broxhead Farm Road to Frensham Lane, so there will be no onward vehicular access to/from Lindford Village. Local access will be maintained, up to where the team is working. Lindford Road will remain open from Station Road to the junction with Broxhead Farm Road.
- Caker Lane (B3004) – 8 January 2024 to 5 February 2024. Works will commence under temporary traffic signals between Windmill Lane and the Golf Course. The road remains open during these works.
- Mill Lane (B3004) – 9 January 2024 to 16 March 2024. The team will start on Mill Lane at Enterprise Cars and move South towards Wilsom Road in approximately 80 – 100m long section of works. The road will be closed to through traffic during this time, but local access will be maintained, up to where the team is working. During the works on Mill Lane, vehicular access to/from Alton along the B3004 using Wilsom Road, Caker Lane, Worldham Hill and Green Street will be maintained.
Pedestrian access is maintained throughout. Details on the full programme of works and the location where our team will be working can be found on the interactive map on our project webpage. The team location pins on the interactive map will be updated as works progresses.
