Remembrance Service

Forces veterans and serving personnel of all ranks are invited to parade at both the Holybourne and Alton annual Remembrance Day Services on Saturday 7th November and Sunday 8th November respectively.  This invitation is extended to anyone who has served and is currently serving in any of His Majesty’s Armed Forces.

Those wishing to Parade can gather at Andrews Endowed Primary School in Holybourne on Saturday 7th November at 10:15am, to set off at 10:45am.  For the Alton Parade please meet in the Market Square on Sunday 8th November at 10:00am to form up and march off at 10:30am.  Veterans will follow current serving personnel to the Cairn, where the Service will be held.  There will be no need to “book” your place – simply come to either or both the Parades.  This includes anyone and everyone including those using a wheelchair or mobility aid – all are very welcome.

The Town Council is grateful to Warrant Officer, Tom Bagley, from the 613 Squadron Air Training Corps who is Parade Marshall at Holybourne and Alton’s Remembrance Service.
