At the Full Council Meeting on 8th January, Alton Town Council (ATC) Resolved to conduct technical and financial assessments of both the Pond and River option and the Dredging option, in parallel.
At the same time, ATC also Resolved to form a Task & Finish Group to take the project forward through this next stage.
Membership of the Task & Finish Group will include both individual residents and representatives of local organisations who can make a meaningful contribution to the group with appointments subject to ratification by Full Council.
Alongside, there will also be a Community & Stakeholder Focus Group who will be responsible for sharing information on the Kings Pond project and act as a conduit for providing feedback to the Task & Finish Group.
Residents and organisations are, therefore, invited to apply and to be part of the project by completing and submitting an Expression of Interest Form.
