Preparations for Christmas will start this evening (Friday 17th November) and will continue tomorrow (Saturday 18th November) with the Christmas Lights being installed in Market Square, Assembly Rooms lawn and the High Street.
The official Christmas Lights switch on will be at 5:00pm (at the Assembly Rooms) on Friday 24th November along with this years Christmas Market from 3:00pm – 7:00pm
Please be aware there will be the following road closure in place on Friday 24th November:

HIGH STREET FROM THE JUNCTION WITH LADY PLACE CAR PARK (MARKS AND SPENCER END) TO THE MINI ROUNDABOUT JUNCTION WITH NORMANDY STREET & CHURCH STREET. MARKET STREET, MARKET SQUARE, CROSS & PILLORY LANE AND TURK STREET.
