Events In Alton
Many events are held on council sites throughout the year, either organised directly by the council or other organisations. If you would like to hold an event on a council site please read the useful information below and complete the online events application form.

Before submitting an application please contact our events team on 01420 83986 or email at the earliest possible opportunity to discuss your event and the availability of Council land if you have a specific space in mind.

Updating your event:
We understand that things can change especially if you are planning your event well in advance. Therefore, please ensure you advise the events team if you make any alterations to your event once you have submitted your application or if you need to send important documents.

How to pay:
An invoice for any fees and deposits will be raised and sent to you by email:
Corporate, Commercial and Market events £220 per day
Charity/Community/Church/Education Group events Free of charge
Hot air balloon launches
£50 per launch
Standpipe hire and water supply rate £22.00 per day
Electric supply rate
£22 per day
All hire charges are reviewed annually, and changes are implemented with effect from 1st April each year.
Booking cancellations fees:
15% 3 months prior to event
20% 1 month prior to event
50% 1 week prior to event
