Alton Town Council has received the following communication from East Hampshire District Council with the scheduled dates for repairs in Lady Place car park.

Monday 20th October – Site set up & start preparation work for surfacing works.
Tuesday 21st October – Finish preparation work.
Wednesday 22nd October – Plane the existing car park
Thursday 23rd October – Surface the car park
Friday 24th October – Install thermoplastic lining
During this time the northern section of Lady Place car park will be out of use, however the southern section (accessible from the High Street) of the car park will remain open.
The contractor will be putting up signage confirming the above, and we have provided this information to our permit holders. During the period in question permit holders are entitled to park in any car park in Alton.
