Three New Councillors Appointed

At Alton Town Council’s Full Council meeting held last night, Wednesday 9th July, three new Councillors were officially co-opted.

The successful candidates were appointed to fill vacant seats in Ashdell, Eastbrooke and Whitedown Wards. Their co-option follows a formal application and selection process carried out in accordance with council policy. Alton Town Council would like to welcome:

John Quincey – Ashdell Ward

Richard Moore – Eastbrooke Ward

Roger Lamb – Whitedown Ward

The newly co-opted Councillors bring a diverse range of skills, experiences and perspectives to the council and will begin their duties with immediate effect.

Councillor Annette Eyre, Town Mayor of Alton said:

“We are pleased to welcome our new Councillors and look forward to working alongside them. Their contributions will be vital as we continue to serve our community and address the opportunities and challenges ahead.”
