Alton Town Council and Alton Concert Orchestra are very pleased to announce that this year’s annual open-air concert in the Public Gardens is going ahead, despite the current government restrictions on the evening of Saturday 10th July.
With social distancing measures in place, a larger marquee required, challenges for rehearsal space and availability of facilities on the day, ticketing and covid safe measures in place, it has been a real challenge but we are delighted to be putting on a finale concert showcasing all the 'best bits' from over a decade of performances!
Due to the current restrictions the venue capacity will be capped at 50% and this will be a prebooked ticketed event, so please book early to avoid disappointment.

As always there is no charge for admission but cash donations towards the staging the event are gratefully received on the evening.
Please remember to bring your deckchairs, picnic blankets and hampers with you – to dedicate more space to the audience there will not be any catering concessions at the event, except for the resident Acorns café serving hot beverages, soft drinks, and cakes.
