Below are three walks that are ideal for little legs, buggies and baby carriers.

We have plenty of walks that are family friendly, on some walks children will need to be able to walk longer distances.

Walk 17 Alton's short but sweet buggy walk

Circular walk discovering Flood Meadows and the Public Gardens. The walk will end in the Public Gardens where you can have a play in the park and grab a snack and drink.

Walk 58 Holybourne Family Walk

Starting at Ansty Park (Finnmore pavilion) walking on the St Swithins Way to Holybourne church and village pond to see the ducks and geese with a short break. Then via footpaths and minor roads to Mill farm adjacent to the river Wey. See the farm animals from the path and throw pooh sticks in the river. Then returning to Ansty Park safely via road and pavements to Ansty Park and finally across the playing fields back to the pavilion.

Intended to be family friendly for families with children up to 12 years old. There are some gates so unlikely to be accessible for buggies.

Walk 66 Buggy stroll in lodge inclosure

A pretty, flat circular route through the lodge inclosure with a mix of tarmac, gravel tracks and a small section of soft footpath. The half way point is in a clearing of the Forest where dens can be made and little legs can be stretched. Before returning to the car park via a gentle slope and passing the entrance of the Alice Holt arboretum. All welcome, a chance for toddlers to get out of buggy's in the clearing in forest where dens can be made, opportunity to stop for a drink or snack at this time.
