BMX Pump Track

Work is due to start on the new BMX Pump Track at Anstey Park on Monday 24th October. Construction will take around 5 weeks, with final surface painting to be undertaken around 2 weeks later. ( weather dependent)

The location has been chosen as it is conveniently located next to the existing play area, there is ample free parking and public toilets available at the park and the site is screened from the road but open enough within the park site to be visible and discourage antisocial behaviour. During the construction of the Pump Track a small number of parking spaces near to Energique will be unavailable for use to enable the construction team to have sufficient space in which to work. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

The surface has a tarmac finish as it is quieter than concrete.

The project has been funded by Alton Town Council, District Community Infrastructure Levy and the EHDC Supporting Communities Fund.
