Pump Track Consultation

Alton Town Council Open Spaces Committee would like to hear your views on the creation of a pump track for Anstey Park.
Please read the presentation prepared by two local residents, Matt and Bill, before responding to this survey.

Please note that the design is indicative demonstrating the proposed location rather than the final layout of the track.
The location has been chosen as it is conveniently located next to the existing play area, there is ample free parking and public toilets available at the park and the site is screened from the road but open enough within the park site to be visible and discourage antisocial behaviour.

The proposed surface is tarmac as it is quieter than concrete.

The proposals have the support of British Cycling and a grant application has been submitted to them for financial assistance.
The project overall is estimated to cost up to £80,000 and it is expected that 100% of the cost will be met by third party funding with no cost to the taxpayer.

Once you have read the two documents above, please follow the link to complete the consultation. https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/ansteypumptrack

The survey will remain open until the 31st January 2022

Many thanks for taking the time to respond.
