Walk 99 U3A Walk: Spain Lane Bradley Wield

This walk is led by Alton U3A.
From the Woodland Trust carpark at Spain Lane heading out towards the village of Bradley and its picture postcard church then over Hampshire downland and on to Lower Wield, returning across the peaceful meadowland of the Woodland Trust site. 6.1 miles in all.
The start-point is only about 10 minutes drive from Alton and the walk is through some peaceful and undulating countryside with pleasing views. Road stretches are short and on country lanes. Directions to Spain Lane carpark will be sent if needed.

Walk 100 Wellbeing Walk: Finding peace, Selborne

THEMED WALK: This walk is designed to give you time out to consider an aspect of your wellbeing. It is a lovely circular walk in Selborne passing through woodland and open fields to Priory Farm. On the return we will spend time by some lakes where the leader, Sally, will offer some fun reflective activities to help you start to work towards a greater sense of peace and calm. On the walk back there is the option to share your thoughts with others, only if you want to. Bring your curiosity, an open mind and something to sit on (a sit mat or plastic bag).

Start time and meeting point:

10:30 am Public car park behind The Selborne Arms pub, High Street, Selborne, GU34 3JR.

The 38 bus from Alton arrives at The Selborne Arms at 10.23.

Walk 101 A circuit around Lower Froyle

A circular walk around Lower Froyle taking in lovely distant views. Characterised by at least 15 stiles, means it is only suitable for small dogs that can be lifted over those stiles that don't have dog hatches.
