Walk 87 Saintbury Hill Circuit

Starting from Anstey Park, on the rugby pitches behind Energique gym, a walk through country lanes and hill tracks to Froyle and then onto Saintbury Hill. Some local roads around the Froyle area, some short steep descents so bring poles if needed, and back to Anstey Park. There will be a break at the top of Saintbury Hill for refreshments so bring a snack. FAST PACED WALK.

Walk 88 Bentley Hall and Betty King's Copse Loop

Through forest (Lodge Enclosure) via Bentley Hall and Broadview Farm to Home Hanger around Bottom Copse returning via Redcap Copse and Bentley Station.

Walk 89 Introducing Hattingley Valley: circuit from Medstead stopping at Hattingley Valley Wines in Lower Wield

The route sets off from Medstead, over the Hattingley vineyards and on towards Upper Wield. When we arrive at the Hattingley Valley winery in Lower Wield there will be a complimentary 15–20-minute talk from a Hattingley representative within the barrel barn. There will be a hot drinks tuckshop offering teas or coffee for £1.50. Toilets are also available on site. We will return from Lower Wield via Jennie Green Lane and back into Medstead.


Start time and meeting point:

2:00 pm Medstead Village Green by the outdoor gym equipment. Please arrive by 1.45pm so that we can set off promptly.
