Six Hills of Alton – Full Circuit BOOK HERE

Enjoy taking in the magnificent views of Alton from the six surrounding hills around

the town.

Start time and meeting point:

10:00 am The Butts, Alton

Please arrive 15 mins before the start of the walk.

11 miles / 4 ½ – 5 hours

A majority of the walks are in the countryside/woodland so rest stops for toilets may not be possible.

Ackender Wood, Thedden Copse and Great Wood

Mainly following well–worn woodland and bridleways with some road walking. Hilly with scenic views.

Binsted, Wheatley and South Hay

This is a lovely circular walk taking in beautiful views. Starting at Binsted Recreation Ground, the walk crosses open fields to Home Hanger and continues via Riverhill Farm to Wheatley before looping south and west to South Hay and Stubbs Farm. The route descends, then climbs the hanger and returns to Binsted via Forty Acres and Holy Cross Church.
