Walk 69 Bentworth - Gaston Wood and Oxdrove Way

Easy walk on largely flat terrain, involving the navigation of only two stiles and three kissing gates. We start on the Village Green, head south east down Tinkers’ Lane and then turn south west past the cricket pitch to Holt End, where we cross the main road and head west through Gaston Wood, where we’ll take a short break to enjoy the bluebells. We then take the ancient Oxdrove Way north towards Bradley, before turning east again across the fields and back to the Village Green. There will be a short break in the Gaston Wood to enjoy the bluebells.

Walk 70 Home Farm: Woodland Trusts Hants gem

Walk 71 The Shalden Circular

Beginning in Shalden, this circular walk will take us through Bentworth, Bradley, Bagmore and back to Shaldon via footpaths, country lanes and woodland. Fast Paced walk.

Walk 72 Abbotts Wood and Bucks Horn Oak Tree Walk

THEMED WALK - TREE WALK: This walk is approximately 3.3 miles in length, parts of it over rough ground, starting and ending at the Abbott’s Wood car park off Dockenfield Street. You will stop and admire magnificent examples of ten species of tree, have the opportunity to identify many more. On the way you will pass the Alice Holt Forest Centre, with refreshment and toilets if needed, and also walk a section of the Shipwrights’ Way.
