Walk 54 The Six Hills of Alton: East Circuit

This walk covers 4 of the Alton Six Hills. Starting from the Town Hall walking through the flood meadows then up the hill above Greenfields estate. From here walking via roads and paths to the hill at Upper Ansty Lane with views across Holybourne and south over the South Downs. From here across the Wey valley through Holybourne to Copt Hill and Neatham Down with many magnificent views. Finally via paths and roads across to Windmill Hill and more lovely views before descending back to the town centre.
There will be short breaks along the route.

All walks are free to attend but you must book in advance.
Dogs welcome but MUST be on leads
All travel costs (buses, trains and parking) is at the expense of the walker.
Please arrive 15 mins before the start of the walk.
Please remember to wear suitable footwear, clothing, bring water and snacks.
A majority of the walks are in the countryside/woodland so rest stops for toilets may not be possible.
