Walk 51 Bramdean Common and Cheriton Battlefield

From Bramdean Common across country to Bramdean village, then along the ridge to Hinton Ampner and through the outskirts of Cheriton to cross the site of the Battle of Cheriton (March 1644), then returning to the start via Cheriton Wood. If possible, we will also visit the Church in the Woods in Bramdean Common after the walk.

All walks are free to attend but you must book in advance.
Dogs welcome but MUST be on leads
All travel costs (buses, trains and parking) is at the expense of the walker.
Please arrive 15 mins before the start of the walk.
Please remember to wear suitable footwear, clothing and bring water and a packed lunch with you.
A majority of the walks are in the countryside/woodland so rest stops for toilets may not be possible.
